Beginning with the 2006 jlo license fee period, all amoa members must include their amoa member identification number on the jlo license renewal form in order to qualify for the amoa member discount. since amoa member savings are substantial, this is an important reminder. for example, for a coin machine operator member with 20 cd jukeboxes requiring jlo licenses, an amoa operator member will pay 0 for the first jlo license and each for boxes two through twenty, or , 273, for a total of , 673. a non-amoa member will pay the same 0 fee for the first jlo license, but each for boxes two through twenty, or 48 for a total of , 148. the amoa member saves 5, which, for most members, more than pays their annual amoa dues. amoa members who do not have their membership number should contact amoa, 800-937-2662 or email jackamoa aol.

The news making headlines in taiwan and the rest of asia is that umc is investing in china chip firm hejian and intents to divest all of umc's intellectual property rights to hejian. taiwan government has stepped in stop the deal, citing illegal exportation of technology to the communist state. this is equivalent of microsoft selling windows source code to china. 1. taiwan subsidized umc and tsm heavily, therefore some argue those companies are partly state owned. 2. when you are worth billion, such as the chairman of umc, there is more to making money. some demand safety, respect, and minimal trouble from the government. 3. umc chairman robert tsao recently traveled to nanjing 100 mile northwest of shanghai ; , where chinese officials made the pitch to recruit umc. the entire city lights of nanjing pop. 5 million ; were shut down for fireworks prepared for mr. tsao. talk about respect and proper treatment! such is the advantage of an un-democratic government; imagine if this were demanded from san francisco residents for a larry ellison's head of oracle ; birthday party. in the last 10 years, what china got from the west is not just dollars. as we all know paper money is worth nothing. therefore it bemuses me every time respected analysts including paul van eeden and frank veneroso ; tell me china will fall off a cliff when demand of chinese exports falls. tell me this, why would getting fewer dollars when export slows ; be a problem when you are loaded with more dollars 0 billion ; than you could ever spend? what china really got for the last 10 years are hi-tech, manufacturing, rules of law, banking, accounting, and construction know-how. all those are permanent fixtures that can't be taken away. andy grove of intel openly complained about overly regulated, overly paid labor, overly taxed us environment. remember intel belongs to its shareholders who seek to maximize profits. before long you will hear companies reincorporating in tax-friendly countries. i mean they are merely following the doorsteps of accenture one of largest accounting firm ; , incorporated in burmuda. to be factually correct intel and microsoft are not american-owned companies, they are companies that incorporate in the us. aside from the ownership issue, there is the money issue. so fiat money can buy certain things but not others? this fiat currency is quite clearly fake. or why else would anyone be concerned about exchanging real assets oil ; for real assets that's treasured and limited in quantity like gold perhaps ; stop the blame game! when i sat next to frank veneroso in front of 1, 000 audience in january in vancouver, and when i read his articles; all i can sense is hate, blame, and more blame. blame gold manipulation to the downside, then copper manipulation to the upside. : kitcocasey displayarticleprint ?id 171 i have subscribers from nearly a dozen countries and i don't know all your background. but i get manipulation gripes weekly. let me share a bit of personal story. when i first discovered that fiat currencies are just "floating abstractions" i.e. fake ; in early 2002, the natural reaction was to sell everything i have and buy gold and gold shares i did. i made out ok strictly because of lucky timing. some of you didn't fare so well. when things don't go your way no doubt you try to find out why, and that's where the blame game starts. the us government is goldinsider is published once every 3 weeks with email updates. contact john lee admin goldinsider for details.

The move was a financial success and displayed vision on behalf of the instigators, as the clubs on the nsw side of the river were prospering due to clever marketing based on tourism. buses were arriving from melbourne for the day, full of tourists wanting to spend a day playing the pokies, having a cheap lunch and enjoying a trip to the country. the club was renovated in 1979, and today offers croquet, lawn bowls, accommodation, swimming pools, tennis, and conference facilities in addition to golf. it is a drawcard for holidaymakers and golfing enthusiasts: people travel to echuca purely for the golf. there are also many great restaurants in echuca, as a result of the thriving tourist industry. on the weekends the cafes and tourist precinct in general are bustling with holidaymakers; families; couples; groups of all ages. three of echuca's eateries have received awards in the age 2003 good food guide. they are oscar w's redgum bar and grill, the cock `n' bull and the black pudding. in addition, many of the pubs and wineries provide restaurant meals. 4.6 cultural life there is a cultural side to echuca. the paramount arts centre was relocated and a wonderful new .5 million paramount performing arts centre and multi cinema complex was officially opened in march 2001. a flow-on from this development was the establishment of a film appreciation society. many fund-raising activities are run at the paramount consisting of a film night with supper, providing much needed funds for schools, pre-schools, accident victims, etc. the echuca musical theatre company, which has been performing for many years, is an annual performer at the theatre and produces highly acclaimed shows. the new paramount complex also makes it more attractive for national and international acts to appear in echuca. the melbourne symphony orchestra came to echuca this year for the first time, the melbourne theatre company offers performances, and annual appearances such as the comedy festival travelling roadshow are a favourite. echuca is always keen to promote itself through festivals and special events. two major events inaugurated in the 1960s are still being held to this day; the `rotary vintage, horse and steam rally' and the `southern 80 ski race'. both events attract large crowds to echuca and accommodation needs to be booked well in advance. both events therefore are vital contributors to echuca's economy. in the past the easter tennis tournament in echuca was a `huge' event for the town, greatly anticipated by all, and brought people and disposable income to the town on an annual basis.
Agriculture the main alaskan agricultural regions identified by the u.s. department of agriculture are the tanana and matanuska valleys, kenai peninsula, southwest and southeast alaska. the greatest production is generally from the tanana and matanuska valleys. the kenai area is also active, but on a much smaller scale. agriculture is negligible in southwest and southeast except for livestock, cattle in particular, raised on kodiak island and a few aleutian islands. the tanana valley has produced an average of about one third of the value of alaska's agricultural products in the last decade. local farmers planted 58.8% of the total alaskan acreage farmed and accounted for 33.1% of the average total crop production in the 1990's. the crops providing the highest total average value were barley 25% ; , all hays 47% ; , and potatoes 20% ; . almost all of the oats produced in the state were grown in the tanana valley. the tanana valley provided approximately 10% of the state's vegetable production. the highest value was obtained from grain and grass hay of which the tanana valley provides nearly 40% for the state. the production of potatoes has been increasing in the tanana valley. recently there have been sales of disease free seed potatoes to china and taiwan and poker lessons.
The somerset rural life museum srlm ; is mentioned in the british library's directory of recorded sound resources in the united kingdom weerasinghe 1989 ; , which we used in a first pilot study enquiring about available sound material for linguistic research. after having exchanged a number of letters with ann heeley, who is responsible for the museum's oral archive, i first travelled to glastonbury in november 1999. my experience there can only be described as extremely pleasant. looking back on it now, mrs heeley was one of the most helpful persons i ever met in connection with data collection. she readily agreed to let me copy the tapes and transcripts whose existence alone was a nice surprise ; . the transcripts, prepared by the original interviewer or in some rare instances by another member of the "friends of the abbey barn", were of such a high quality that almost no re-editing was necessary. the collection consists of some 350 interviews to date, recorded between approximately 1973 and the present. recording was first undertaken with the help of a reel, but has since changed to cassette tapes. the collection is continuously expanded, and whenever someone's interest in a certain subject is peaked, they will usually record interviews with people who know something about the matter at hand. the museum collects old agricultural equipment, and often the original owner is interviewed to explain a tool's or machine's use. a number of in-depth projects were conducted for the archive, from a "cider research project" in the early 1980s to "villages at war" in the early 1990s and "women's institutes" in the late 1990s. individual interviews are categorized by content for easier reference, some labels being e.g. "craftsmen", "childhood", "working man woman", "village life", "agriculture" or "world war ii". interviewers follow ed ; the guidelines of the oral history association, making it easy to scan through the background information about the speakers in search of suitable interviews or texas hold em poker.

Favored by seven, the bettors saw it differently. so the line will take an adjustment usually in point increments until the action is even on both sides. by eventually dropping the line to the chargers + 6 and the 49ers 6 the action of betting evened out in time for the game on sunday with each team taking 0, 000 of action. now the money line is even and the house achieved its goals. half the money will win and half will lose but the house will always win. the house will take all the losing money and take an additional 5-9% of the top for the winning money. this gives the house a guaranteed take, and they don't care what the outcome will be in the game because the money is guaranteed if the game results in a win of more or less than six and seven points for the 49ers. usually the figure referred to as being the optimal minimum winning percentage the bettor needs to achieve is 61% to break even or make a little money. and at 61%, this is a difficult figure to achieve for almost all bettors, so therefore the house wins almost all of the time. the house also finds advantages in many times for the underdog to win. reason being in most nfl games the betting action is heavier on the favorite. plus from a social perspective, most people want to root for a winner. who wants to be associated with a loser, and therefore go through all of the frustration of supporting a loser as well? ; as with every sport, any team can win on any given day, and in the nfl there are upsets every weekend. this is a balancing effect for the wagering and works in the houses advantage in the long run. now, there is a hitch to this though. one item of caution that must be noted: where the house can lose big is when people middle the action. i will explain this as it pertained to my father several years ago. the cincinnati bengals were playing the san francisco 49ers in the superbowl and the initial line was the 49ers 7. so my father thought the bengals were a good deal at + 7 and he therefore bet them heavy before the line adjustment. many other people also thought the bengals were a good deal at that price so all of the action was also.

We had the pleasure of having a couple of young engineers both graduates of uc berkeley ; teach a class on energy and new alternatives in energy. they were kind enough to take time out of their very busy schedules to enlighten our girls. brook porter and rahul iyer were able to engage our students and apply some of the knowledge that they have acquired here. these engineers come to us from intelligent energy on redondo ave. right here in long beach, and they are true pioneers in their realm. we are so lucky and grateful that they are interested in educating and preparing our students for the future. mr. porter and mr. iyer will be visiting the school on an on-going basis. we have another engineer from the field of aeronautics who has been teaching the girls how to build their own gliders. we are at the critical sanding stage where aerodynamics really come into play. we will be testing our forms out at the park to better understand how to hone our gliders for better flight. another on-going project has been the assembly of solar-powered toys. some girls are already out in the sun with their toys on the run. there is a possibility that a team of eight of our girls may participate in a contest to create a solar toy. pat baird will help head up this project. middle school students need to get out and visit some high schools. i will be planning field trips and will need drivers. please see me if you can help. and, finally, our next debate is scheduled for january 15, 2005. any volunteers who can help prepare the students for this event would be greatly appreciated. please see me or email to wibroe laurelcrest . - ms. wibroe, middle school director.
